How to connect Discord

  1. In Discord open the channel settings → Integrations → Webhooks and create a webhook.
  2. Copy the webhook URL.
  3. In Vane Post choose Discord and paste the link. Vane checks it and saves it encrypted.

Tokens and keys are stored encrypted and you can disconnect at any time. How we protect them.

Questions about Discord

Why a webhook and not a login?

A webhook can only post to one channel. Vane gets no access to your account or the rest of the server.

Can a scheduled post ping everyone?

No. Mentions are disabled on posts sent through Vane.

How do I stop Vane posting?

Delete the webhook in Discord, or disconnect the channel in Vane.
